Making body lotion a habit

I think, universally, moisturising the body is one of the most maligned and neglected parts of the beauty routine. More often than not when we get out of the shower, we don't want to stand in the cold waiting for lotion to sink in. But it's one of those things you have to do to keep your skin hydrated and healthy.

I try to moisturise twice a day - once in the morning after my shower, once before putting on my pyjamas. I've found that if you put your moisturiser somewhere easily accessible - say, one in the bathroom and one in the bedroom - you're more likely to end up using it.

I've found that trick to be almost infallible, but somedays I just can't stomach having to wait between my shower and my clothes. For these days, I've always got a pot of LUSH Ro's Argan Body Conditioner, which is basically a hair conditioner for the body and you don't have to moisturise further after your shower. I've mentioned it before on the blog because it's an essential for freezing or lazy mornings.
