Cult Beauty goodies

In late November, Cult Beauty arranged their annual Goody Bag, a gift with purchase worth £180 and full of generous samples of their 'hero' products. Logically, I felt like this was the ideal time to finally buy a few items that had been lingering in my Cult Beauty basket.

To the unfamiliar, Cult Beauty is a hub of highly-sought, interesting beauty brands that you won't find in your average department store. It is also one of the few places I can source OSKIA products in Australia and having fallen in love with their Renaissance Cleansing Gel (silky and smelling of roses), I opted for their Perfect Cleanser.  It's a much harder consistency than the Renaissance Cleanser, and I need some water to avoid pulling my skin too much. Because of ease of use, I have been reaching for the Renaissance more frequently, but I like having the Perfect in my cupboard for days I want to thoroughly cleanse my skin.

The Pixi Glow Tonic was my next pick of 'products everyone bangs on about that I've yet to be able to get my hands on' (although, when I was at Sephora Melbourne last week, I spotted a rather extensive Pixi range). It definitely is a stronger exfoliant than my beloved First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads, so I'll be saving it for every couple of nights - or when I'm in need of that fabled 'glow'.

I've long been a fan of overnight hydrating products, such as the Origins and Kiehl's offerings, so the Bio-Essence Hydra Tri-Action Aqua Droplet Sleeping Beauty Mask seemed like a fine addition to my mask collection - especially as I've heard it's a cult product in Asia. It certainly does what it claims in terms of texture - turning from a light gel to almost a water when applied to the skin. It does an excellent job making skin look plump and less tired by morning, and while my skin feels more comfortable layering an oil on top, that is only my personal preference - it can easily hold its own and be enough moisture for some skins.

The goody bag boasted many of Cult Beauty's most popular products - think Pixi Glow Tonic, Alpha H Liquid Gold and the Therapie Himalayan Detox Salts. Being a candle obsessive, I was most excited for the Neom Complete Bliss candle. I adore the warming rose scent cut through with the fresh sharpness of lime and pepper. The goody bag also provided a £15 voucher to spend at Cult Beauty so now I need some suggestions as what to add to my basket for my next purchase - any ideas?
