New Year refresh

I love Christmas as much as the next person (arguably much more) and as I got particularly festive these past holidays,  I consequently suffered a more severe bout of "Christmas fatigue" - that is, feeling queasy at the sight of leftover decorations and food past early January. To combat this, the past fortnight has been dedicated to a refresh to herald in 2016 and to put myself in good stead for the year ahead.

Nails // My nails were looking rather pitiful after one too many repeat applications and removals of glitter polish in December. While I skipped colour altogether for a short while, opting for regular doses of Revitanail Nail Strengthener to nurse my nails back to good health, I'm now gravitating toward neutral polishes. Nails Inc Porchester Square and Essie Fiji are excellent palate cleansers.

Detox tea // Whenever I'm in need of a pick-me-up, few things work better than a cup of green tea. As well as being brilliantly healthy for you, the Kusmi Detox Tea, with its notes of lemongrass, is refreshing for both mind and body.

Clear your space // Now's the time to look around and edit down what you own to only the items that are useful or beautiful. Make an effort to organise your possessions and give your house a thorough deep clean, then purchase a bunch of flowers or a candle to beautifully scent your home. There are few things as replenishing as refreshing your surrounds.

I hope that 2016 is faring wonderfully for you so far!
