January favourites

I've decided to bring back monthly favourites on the blog, highlighting a few of the things that I loved the most in January. Get excited.

KORRES body products // This skincare line prides itself on being exceptionally pure and 'free' from almost everything - but I am mostly interested in the lush, almost photorealistic scents of their products. Their Fig Shower Gel evokes images of the trees by the river, that bear plump fruit in high summer. For a light, fast-absorbing body lotion that smells delicately floral, I adore the Water Lily Body Milk - it's what I reach for on hot days when I can't stomach the thought of a rich moisturiser. The KORRES line won't cost you a fortune, but is undeniably luxurious.

KUSMI tea // When I was in France in 2014, I was on the hunt for a tea by KUSMI that Thibault's mother drinks regularly and that I liked immensely. After traipsing around a few of the grands magasins of Paris and Bordeaux, various boutiques in smaller towns, I finally found my tin in a little shop in PĂ©rigueux - only to discover that the line was stocked in David Jones, a large department store back home. Little bother. If you're looking for excellent quality loose leaf teas, you can do little wrong with KUSMI. This month, I've been drinking their Detox tea and their Ginger Lemon Green tea.

Perfume blogs // Perfume, and reading about perfume, is undoubtedly my newest obsession. I mentioned Bois de Jasmin a few weeks ago, and I think I've made my way through the majority of the archives - it is a compellingly beautiful read. If you're looking for more good perfume blogs, two new discoveries are Now Smell This and Kafkaesque.

I hope your January was everything you had hoped, and happy February! I would love it if you shared your favourites of the month below.
